Every now and then, I like to revisit the creative journey that has unfolded on this blog. This morning, a throwback post, the Luminous Printable Mail Art Envelope Template, popped up on Pinterest and inspired me to share TPK’s top eight free printable mail art templates with you. These templates are your favorites, ranked by the number of downloads!
Before We Get Started: How to Use Printable Mail Art Templates
I designed printable mail art templates for those days when you want to send something special via snail mail, but you simply don’t have the time. To begin, print the template on the paper of your choice. (I typically print on 32# HP Laserjet or 80# drawing paper that’s been cut to fit inside my printer.) Then, cut out the template along the guidelines, and follow the steps below:
The mail art templates highlighted in today’s article are free favorites. If you love the idea of printable mail art, TPK has some previously vaulted premium bundles available through the end of May. You can browse them here!
At 8,402 downloads, the Holiday Mail Art Template is the most popular on the TPK site. While I suspect you may not have a use for it now, you can “pin” it for use later this year!
The Typography Art Envelope Template is a bit different from all the other printables on this list. It’s not a ready-made piece that you print, cut, and fold. Instead, it’s a piece of paper that you slip into an A7 envelope to trace! 6,039 brave souls have done it, so I know that you can, too. 🙂
If I were making a list of my personal favorite mail art templates, this one would be #1! I guess I have a thing for lamps and lightbulbs? 🙂 As it is, though, this mail art template has 5,319 downloads, making it the fourth most popular on the TPK website.
At 5,165 downloads, the Printable Valentine’s Day Card + Envelope Pair has enjoyed a fair amount of success since its release several years ago. The floral theme makes it great for Valentine’s Day, but, really, it works for any occasion!
The creepiest mail art printables on the TPK website have been downloaded 3,432 times! You don’t have to wait until Halloween to use them, though. They can add a noir flair to someone’s mailbox any time of year.
This spooky mail art depicts a spooky haunted mansion framed by leafless tree branches. Bats fly, a crow caws, and clouds move across the sky. This is the perfect mail art to send in the autumn — bookmark or “pin” it for then! At 1,704 downloads, it’s a seasonal favorite.
I hope that you enjoyed this roundup! Several of these free printable mail art templates are from quite a few years ago, so my hope is that this is the first time you’re seeing them. If you have any questions about these printables or mail art in general, please feel free to ask in the comments! It’s always a pleasure to hear from you. Thanks very much for reading TPK, and have a great weekend!
